Spend Tiers That Survive Procurement Reviews
Procurement-ready spend plans translate daily pacing into tiered milestones stakeholders can approve. Tier one covers always-on prospecting; tier two funds tests; tier three is a reserve for competitive windows or event spikes.
We ask teams to attach expected lead volume ranges per tier — not point predictions. Ranges survive scrutiny better when actuals diverge, which they will in volatile B2B cycles.
When LinkedIn costs rise mid-quarter, the reserve tier prevents panic cuts to tests that were finally producing learning. Conversely, if delivery outpaces CRM capacity, pausing tier two is cleaner than throttling bids on proven audiences.
Document who can move budget between tiers. Ambiguity here causes more internal conflict than platform performance issues.
